Martin has an exemplary reputation, established during his 16-year career. His interest in food started from a young age, developing his knowledge and food style over the years.His food takes influences from his native Cumbria, as well as Scandinavia and Asia, and delivers inspired dishes, each carefully conceived and crafted utilising the finest Cumbrian produce. Ingredients which he sources directly from among the artisan stewards of the county’s rich and bountiful larder.Martin on completing his formal training, has worked in some of the most renowned Michelin starred kitchens in the North of England, winning notable professional accolades along the way, including an Acorn award, a hospitality industry Oscar, propelling him into seriously illustrious company, alongside the likes of other former winners, such as Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsay.Private dining by Martin Frickel delivers truly memorable experiences, without the inconvenience of having to leave the house.
